- Calvary Memorial Christian
School is excited to announce two gifts totaling $2,200.00
toward the purchase of new swings for the CMCS playground. The
two school families giving these gifts would like other CMCS
families to join them. The more money raised will mean extra
bays of swings and more attractive borders. Currently we have
enough funds for 2 bays (or four swings). If possible we
would also like to replace the pea rock in the current
playground structure with rubberized woodchips allowing for
safer play. Please contact the school if you would be interested
in helping CMCS swing into September!
- We welcome Dave Tessman and Denise Crawford as the newest
members of the CMCS School Committee. The School Committee meets
the third Thursday of each month throughout the year.
- Mr. Heinsch or Mrs. Heinsch will be in the office most days
this summer. The summer office hours are 9 AM - 1 PM.
Please call ahead if you plan to stop by as some appointments
might take us off campus.

A huge thank you to Don and Brenda Cole of
Northern Rascals Inc. for their hard work in seeding and
fertilizing the hill on the playground. We have been trying to
years to get grass to grow on that hill. The Cole's came in and
did it right!

Join us at 8 AM on Saturday, July 19th as we
decorate the school bus for the Spirit of the Lakes Parade in
Mound which starts at 10:00 A.M. Families will be able to walk,
ride bikes, or pull wagons behind the bus throughout the parade
route. Please email Glenn in the school office if you plan to
attend. This is a GREAT way for us to make our school known to
the community!
