When CMCS was born from Calvary Memorial Church over 30 years ago, the vision and desire was for children to learn God’s truth and develop a Biblical worldview not only in the home, but also outside of the home – 24/7 (Deuteronomy 6). “CMCS’s mission, in partnership with Christian parents, is to provide a quality, Christ-centered education which trains students to glorify God in all areas of their lives – body, mind and spirit – so that they may achieve academic excellence and spiritual maturity.” This mission remains true today, and we are committed whole-heartedly to assist you as parents in this important responsibility. We believe time is of the essence, and our vision is a strong partnership of the school and church with parents in this endeavor.

From CMCS Parents…
"My child is surrounded by Christian friends and role models and can learn about God at school. We know that our children have been taught at school with the same values we teach them at home."

"CMCS is small, personal, Christ-Centered with a Biblical world-view. Great teachers. It is so nice to see."

"Our children came to Calvary for what they would get (Bible-based curriculum, Christian teachers, prayer in the school, solid education...). But they stayed because of what they wouldn't get (alternative lifestyles, uncontrolled influences, pressures to conform to the world's standards, not God's...)."

"CMCS has a very warm, friendly and loving atmosphere. Our son was always eager to go to school. CMCS has aa gentle approach to learning and building kids up.
We feel God called us to CMCS... I heard from a variety of sources that this was a good school... During our son's year at CMCS, he had a great experience with his classmates and made good friends. He had struggled at a previous school... at CMCS he experienced love and acceptance which has boosted his confidence."

"CMCS is different because of Small class sizes, dedicated teachers and staff, and a Christ-centered, positive atmosphere. My son chose CMSC because of the alchohol and drug problems at the public school, and for the smaller class so he could learn, not just pass time. CMCS has taught memorization and helped him have a clear and firm basis for his belief in Christ."

"...when home schooling wasn't a good fit for my child... CMCS became our second choice. We love that she is taught everything from a Biblical perspective (which is what I was doing at home) so this felt like another great option. Reasonably priced makes the choice affordable to us. My daughter has done well at CMCS... This was a great fit for us."

"I like the way teachers develop a relationship with the children in a Godly way.... I have a 19 yer old son who attended Calvary from K-7 and I believe it really gave him a stron base to move on to the real world, and see what is right and wrong in the Lords eyes."
From CMCS Students and Alumni...
"I appreciated my time at CMCS because it gave me a firm foundation in my faith. When I left Calvary and moved on to high school, I felt equipped to be bold about my faith because of the relationship I had developed with God throughout my time at Calvary. The Christian community was uplifting and ideal for those formative years as a child. I really found a solid faith at Calvary." |
"...Other schools may have teachers that are evolutionists or kids being big bullies... It has made my life much easier because I am now a Christian and God has guided my way through life, helping me through any struggle that has come my way."

"Fun and friends!"
From CMCS Staff…
”Teaching at CMCS means being able to share my love of God with my students and teach the Truth from God's word. I can display Bible pictures and materials without being asked to remove them. As a first grade teacher I am building a strong foundation in my students so they can survive and cope with the problems that arise in everyday living. Small class sizes help me to know more about each student and meet their learning needs as well as helping them become a well-rounded educated person. CMCS has a Christ centered family based atmosphere. I have been at CMCS 10 years and have no plans to leave as the joy of serving God outweighs the material possessions one can store up."
Our prayer is for each child is that they will be anchored in God’s truth through their time at CMCS so that God may be glorified in their every word, thought and deed."
